As the year comes to a close, I want to thank you for being part of the Corrections Communicated community.

Corrections professionals operate in one of the most complex and scrutinized environments in public service. This year once again showed how quickly incidents can escalate and how much impact communication has on safety, trust, and understanding both inside the walls and beyond them.

Corrections Communicated was built to support the professionals responsible for telling these stories, managing crises, and explaining difficult realities to the public. Your engagement, feedback, and willingness to learn and share best practices continue to shape this platform and strengthen the field.

In the year ahead, Corrections Communicated will remain focused on practical tools, real-world lessons, and elevating the role of communication as an essential part of corrections operations, not an add-on.

Thank you for the work you do and for your commitment to improving how corrections communicates.

Wishing you a safe, steady, and successful year ahead.

Respectfully,

Paul D. Raymond, Jr.

Founder, Corrections Communicated
